Finally, work!
So after a month of job hunting, I’m finally getting somewhere. I got in with the temp agency Angus One and they’ve got me my first “assignment”!
For this week, I’m doing receptionist and jr. admin work for the Canadian Bar Association, and then next week I’m doing intermediate admin work for them. I’m getting paid $14/hr this week and $15/hr next week (for the intermediate work)!
Yay, that’s almost a grand in two weeks. So glad to be working again, even if it’s for a little bit. I have to dress “business professional” too, which I’m still trying to figure out but I bought a blazer so I figure that must be good.
