my brother and sister-in-law just sent out their baby registry (on babies r us) and everything is winnie the pooh themed.

the guests were also asked to bring gender neutral gifts because they aren’t sure what the gender is yet.

im going to buy everything in pink.

I was talking to a person at work who (like me) is a social justice student, and when I told her that I was taking the sociology course “Feminist Theory” (1 of 3 requirement options), her response was “oh yeah I don’t really like feminist theory, feminism.” I just stared blankly and didn’t know what to say.

What I wanted to say: ARE YOU SERIOUSLY A SOCIAL JUSTICE STUDENT AND HAVE NO INTEREST IN FEMINISM? YOU SERIOUSLY WANT TO HELP CHANGE THE WORLD BUT DO NOT CARE ABOUT EQUALITY FOR ALL. HOW ARE YOU ALIVE.
